One in eight of all women are affected by breast cancer. There are many risks factors however no one has been able to reveal why women get breast cancer. Some risks include:

  • Age
  • Genetics
  • Personal History
  • Contraceptives
  • Obesity
  • Dense Breasts

Sign that someone may have breast cancer can include nipple discharge, a change or difference in the shape or size of the breast or a lump in the breast. Mammography is a type of X-ray imaging used to check for breast cancer in women who do not show signs or symptoms of the disease. This type of mammogram is used to locate breast in its early stages where most effectively treated. Treatments can include:

  • Lumpectomy
  • Mastectomy
  • Radiation Therapy
  • Chemotherapy
  • Targeted Therapy
